Any accommodation inquiry or reservation request submitted through the Website constitutes an offer by you to book accommodation and related services. A binding reservation contract is formed only upon our issuance of a written confirmation (including by e-mail) specifying your reservation reference number, room type, dates and applicable rate.

We reserve the right to decline any reservation request at our sole discretion, including where a requested room type is unavailable, where the information you have provided is incomplete or inaccurate, or where we have reasonable grounds to believe the booking may be fraudulent or contrary to these Terms.

5.2 Accuracy of Guest Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all guest details, dates, room preferences and any special requests submitted during the booking process are accurate and complete. bears no liability for errors arising from inaccurate information provided by you.

5.3 Reservation Confirmation

Upon confirmation of a reservation you will receive a confirmation document to the e-mail address you have provided. Please retain this document as proof of your reservation. 6. Rates and Booking Terms

6.1 Currency and Taxes

All rates displayed on the Website are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Rates are subject to applicable federal and provincial taxes, including Harmonised Sales Tax (HST), and may also be subject to applicable tourism and destination levies, which will be itemised at the point of booking and upon checkout.

6.2 Rate Accuracy

We endeavour to ensure that all rates and promotional offers published on the Website are accurate at the time of display. However, errors may occasionally occur. In the event that an incorrect rate is displayed and you have submitted a reservation request at that rate, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable. 6.4 Cancellation and Modification

Cancellation and modification terms vary by rate type and are specified in your reservation confirmation. In general:

  • Flexible rates: Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date (local Halifax time, 15:00 AST) will incur no charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in or no-shows will be charged one (1) night's room rate plus applicable taxes.
  • Advance Purchase rates: Fully non-refundable. No cancellation, modification or transfer is permitted once payment is processed.
  • Promotional / Package rates: Specific terms accompany each offer at the time of booking and govern in the event of any conflict with the general terms above.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@dravellorprestigehotel.com and will be acknowledged by our reservations team with a cancellation reference number. Verbal cancellation requests are not accepted.

6.5 Payment

Payment may be required at the time of booking (for advance purchase and certain promotional rates) or settled at the property upon checkout (for flexible rates), in accordance with the terms specified in your confirmation. We accept major credit and debit cards as displayed during the booking process. reserves the right to pre-authorise your payment card upon booking or upon check-in.

6.6 Check-In and Check-Out

Standard check-in time is 15:00 AST and standard check-out time is 12:00 noon AST. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.

7. Age Restrictions

7.1 General Minimum Age

You must be at least 19 years of age to make a reservation, as the legal age of majority in Nova Scotia is 19 years. Reservations submitted by persons under the age of 19 will not be honoured, and we reserve the right to require valid government-issued photo identification confirming age at check-in.

7.2 Casino Floor — Minimum Age of 21

Access to all casino gaming areas at Dravellor Prestige Hotel is strictly restricted to persons aged 21 years and older . This restriction applies at all times, without exception. Valid government-issued photo identification will be required upon entry to the casino floor. Any person who is unable to produce satisfactory proof of age will be denied entry.

It is a condition of entry to the casino premises that guests and visitors comply fully with this age restriction. Any person who facilitates access to the casino floor by a person under the age of 21 may be subject to removal from the property and may face further legal consequences under applicable Nova Scotia and Canadian law.

8. Responsible Gaming
